Amazon Buys: September & October
What I bought and loved from Amazon this month. Ok, September got away from me so I am combining September and October this time. As always, things for the house and for our toddler top the list! Some really good stuff this month! Check it out and happy shopping :)
GE LED Speaker Light Bulb
This light bulb, you guys…It gives off great light, but the coolest feature is that it plays music! You control the bulb from a remote or from your iPhone via Bluetooth. We use it on our patio and synch to my Spotify to play music. The sound quality is amazing and the bulb is only $25!
Bamboo Utensil Drawer Organizers
Ok, just like everyone else, I binged The Home Edit on Netflix and promptly purchased some drawer organizers for my kitchen. I started with the utensils and kitchen gadgets. These bamboo organizers work wonderfully!
Carhartt Kids Hat
I bought this hat for Remy in the toddler size. It is the cutest! I love the Brown color, but it comes in a ton of options and you can get an adult size to match your little!
Ceiling Cap Light Cover
Random purchase award! We’ve been changing out a lot of light fixtures at the new place. in some cases, I’ve sold the old light but haven’t decided on the new light yet. These ceiling caps cover the hole where the light once was until we install a new one or patch it with drywall. They look great and seamlessly blend in with the typical white ceiling paint.
4 Peg Wood Hooks
I got these wall hooks for the inside of our coat closet. So far I’ve ordered two and I will probably order more. They are the perfect size to hold coats, hats, purses, and now face masks!
Toddler Boys Fall / Winter Boots
I love these boots for our little guy! Seems like we are always buying Remy some new clothes or shoes or something. But these boots I really love. The Carter’s Milo boots are a bit more dressy for holiday events and photos. The OskKosh Brent boot feels perfect for Fall hikes and flannel shirts. For reference, Remy is 18 months and wears size 5 shoes.
The North Face Toddler Hooded Jacket
I’ve been torn between a few coat options for Remy this winter. This North Face Thermoball Eco Hooded Jacket tops the list. I love that it’s rated to be super warm, the hood fits snugly, and it comes in a few different colors. I like the Meld Grey. Still on the hunt for a jacket with hand covers because my kid refuses to wear gloves.
V-Neck Shift Dress
I ordered a few dresses from Amazon for our Fall family photos in October and this was one that I really liked and kept. The V neck cut looks great. The length is perfect (not too short, but not too close to the knee). I ordered it in green and I think this would be a great dress for Christmas photos or a party this year.
Amazon eero Mesh WiFi Booster System
With both of us working from home and all of our devices relying on WiFi, we needed a booster. We bought the eero booster on Amazon Prime day and so far it is working great! I have no issues with spotty WiFi or overloading the system.
Bose Solo 5 TV Soundbar System with Universal Remote Control
We were in the market for a new sound bar and this one is rated really well. The remote is a little bulky, but aside from that it is working great!
Adidas Cloudfoam Running Shoe
Anyone else terrible at replacing tennis shoes? I’m pretty sure they are supposed to be replaced every year (or less), but mine were going on well over two years of wear. Finally, a hole in the toe forced me to buy a new pair. These Adidas Cloudfoam shoes are very comfortable and I love the grey color.
Pizza Cutter
We somehow lost our pizza cutter in the move! So I bought this handle-less gadget.
Bissell MyAir Purifier
With the changing of seasons (and moving to a new home) we really felt like the air quality wasn’t so great in our bedrooms. We bought this air purifier for Remy’s room and so far it seems to be helping him wake up with a clearer nose and throat. I am thinking of getting one for our room, as well!
